I see dead people

or notSo the man and I were kid-less for a weekend and after having blown a ton of money on Christmas we decided free activities were the best choice. I got a book from the library (gotta love free books) called Weird Wisconsin (kind of redundant don't cha think?) and decided to check out as many things in it as we could. He just bought a new truck so we had to try that out too - It's so awesome - I love big trucks! (big new trucks are even better) so we went cemetery hopping. I think all told we hit like 5 or 6. There was one big beautiful sprawling cemetery in Oconomowoc (LaBelle Cemetery) that is supposed to be haunted by this statue of a girl. Stories abound about seeing cry blood etc. Nope. Just a really pretty statue. I'll post some pictures when I drag my butt out to the truck to retrieve the camera and download them. Oooh maybe something creepy is on one! Or maybe I just got some cool pictures of old graves. Have a safe and happy new year! God Bless!

Quick n cute

kitchy cookiesOkay, so I so did not invent these babies but they're cute and you don't have to frost them. Just use your favorite sugar cookie dough (see allrecipes.com for a good one) roll between wax paper - cut out a heart shape - stick two pretzels for antlers add three choco chips and bake! Rock on! If you happen to have cinnamon dots you can do rudolf's nose instead of the other 8 reindeer. I was freakin Martha today - sewing and knittin'- bakin' and craftin' whew I need a grey goose cosmo - who's with me? Anywho, better get going still got wrapping and such stuff to finish. As you can see I need a hair style and some sun - but hey - It's been a day and a half so cut me some slack 'kay?

The show The show

Okay I'm sorry I've been away so long baby, but you know - with the whole job thing (alright like 3 part timers has to count for one "real one" right?) and that Christmas thing that the over achiever in me has to craft every stinking minute of and then there's the show. Yes remember back last September when I told you my work was going to be featured in a show at the bank in January? Well, guess what? It's almost January! And of course my other sewing is busy so if I am not shopping, baking, knitting, at the hospital or cleaning this place I AM SEWING! It's fun - but this pace is a bit much even for me. I enjoy being crazy as much as the next looney - but at some point I either take a quick break or fall down. Either is fine but one has to happen. Well, gotta go - gotta sew something :D Buy or is that bye?
